GOAL
Design a strong and consistent navigation app that is inventive, memorable, and adaptable. This app should have an easy-to-use interface, banners and icon designs. It will be used by attendees to navigate the event, learn more about key figures, and promote the brand values.

CONTEXT

Fuel Up to Play 60 (FUTP 60) is a leading national in-school health and wellness program launched by the National Football League (NFL) and National Dairy Council (NDC), and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) The FUTP 60 Student Ambassador Summit event brings together 250+ student leaders and over 100 educators representing 45 states to spend a four days exchanging ideas and inspiring communities with leadership and communication training designed to enhance their program engagement in the upcoming 2019-2020 school year.

PROCESS

Before beginning the design, we collected info about all key speakers, attendees, brands, partners and NFL players at the event, totaling over 600 attendees. This was used to create a profile for each person, and allow attendees to learn more about the NFL players, initiatives supporting Fuel Up to Play 60, and the event attendees to connect with speakers. With this being a four day event, we collected information about each activity at the Fuel Up to Play 60 Summit, including leadership training, games, meeting NFL players. This was implemented into the app to create a reliable schedule for each attendee to follow.

GOAL
Design a strong and consistent navigation app that is inventive, memorable, and adaptable. This app should have an easy-to-use interface, banners and icon designs. It will be used by attendees to navigate the event, learn more about key figures, and promote the brand values.

MARKETING STRATEGY

By planning invitations emails, engaging push notifications, and promoting app features, we measured increased engagement across numerous components from the years prior.

From incorporating and strategizing using a marketing plan, we worked steadily throughout the summer to promote engagement prior to the event, during and after to encourage long lasting users.

DESIGN INSIGHTS

I designed icons for different content of the app, banners recognizing partners and sponsors , as well as marketing for event sponsors within the app. Outside of the app, I worked to create layouts and flyers to encourage interactivity between organizations and students.
